Eighteen months after the start of the Covid-19 pandemic it feels like now is the right time to take stock of what we’ve achieved as university estates and facilities teams – and to say the most enormous Thank You to everyone involved in a simply huge team effort.Throughout November 2021, we’ll be sharing the stories of people who have gone above and beyond in their efforts to keep their universities on track. They are often the behind-the-scenes staff that don’t always get the recognition they deserve. But during this extraordinarily challenging period they have risen to new heights of professionalism, determination and sheer hard work, and they are based in every estates and facilities team in every university.
