SOS! Support the #BACargo strike this Christmas
25 December to 2 January.
British Airways is doing it again, still tearing up the contracts and raiding the wages of loyal UK workers. Firing and rehiring and betraying Britain.
This time it’s the airline’s cargo workers who are in the line of fire.
Now following the collapse of talks, around 840 of our members, who have played such a key role in the Covid-19 response, are set to strike from Christmas day for nine days over BA’s brutal fire and rehire tactics and cruel cuts.
Your support and solidarity is needed now more than ever.
We’ve decided not to hold pickets over safety concerns due to the new super fasting spreading Covid variant, which means your supportive messages on social media really are needed more than ever! Please take a few minutes to support the BA strike this Christmas by:
- Sharing your messages of support and solidarity on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram! Don’t forget to include #BACargoStrike and #StopFire&Rehire and @unitetheunion @British_Airways in all of your posts. Let’s get this trending this Christmas. (Download & share the graphics below)
- Recording a video message of solidarity and sharing it on social media. Sharing pictures and messages to @British_Airways. Tell this greedy boss to stop trashing workers’ rights
- Talking to your family and friends about the strike and asking them to support the action online too.
